Vegetarian food is where our story begins. Discover the flavours, variety and generous spirit behind a Namaste Village table.

The best moment at a shared table is often the first exchange: a spoonful offered across the plates, a question about a spice, someone discovering a dish they would never have ordered alone.

## Vegetarian from the beginning At Namaste Village, vegetarian cooking is part of our family’s starting point. It gives us a whole kitchen to explore: lentils cooked patiently, vegetables handled with care, bright chutneys, crisp dosas and breads made for gathering up the last little bit of sauce. The pleasure is in the variety, and in finding how different dishes speak to one another.

World Vegetarian Day, on 1 October, gives us a reason to invite more people into that conversation. You do not need to arrive with a label for the way you eat. Come with curiosity. Try something familiar beside something new, and let the table become a shared discovery.

## Start with a little sharing A good way into Indian vegetarian food is to order with the whole table in mind. Choose something crisp, something warming and something fresh. Ask our team which dishes are vegan and which can be prepared for your requirements; vegetarian dishes may contain dairy, and the details matter.

This year, our planned welcome for dine-in guests is a complimentary Chilli Gobi for each table on 1 October. The story behind the gesture is simple: food becomes more generous when everyone has a little of it. The confirmed offer and its terms will sit alongside the celebration when ready.

Wherever you are on your food journey, there is room for another favourite. We would be glad to help you find it.

We’ll have a table ready.
