MODERN INDIAN INSPIRED BY AUTHENTIC TRADITION

FROM OUR VILLAGE

For the People Who Remember What We Like

A Mother’s Day reflection on care, food memories and making time for the people who have looked after us.

Someone remembers that you like the crisp piece from the edge. Someone puts a little aside before the dish reaches the table. These are small acts, easily missed, until you realise how much of being cared for lives inside them.

## The knowledge of a family table Food memories often belong to people as much as recipes. We remember how a meal was served, who insisted there was enough for one more guest and which dish appeared when somebody needed comfort.

Mother’s Day offers a moment to recognise that care. For some, it means celebrating a mother or grandmother. For others, it means remembering someone, thanking another person who raised them or choosing a quieter way to spend the day. There is room for all of those experiences.

## Let us do some of the looking after A meal together can be a way to return a little of the attention we have received. Choose a place where everyone can settle in, tell the team what would make the visit easier, and let the person who usually organises things enjoy being a guest.

We are preparing our Mother’s Day plans for 7 March 2027. The regular buffet will not run at our locations that day. The special dining arrangements and any accompanying details will be confirmed separately before publication.

There is no single correct way to mark the occasion. A visit, a conversation or a favourite dish made at home can all carry the same message: the care you gave has stayed with me.

We’ll have a table ready.
