A colour you would never choose for an ordinary day can suddenly seem exactly right. Holi makes room for that small surprise: a familiar place feels different, and people have a reason to meet with a little more playfulness.
## Joy is also a way of gathering Holi has varied religious and regional traditions. The bonfire observance and the celebration with colours carry related meanings, but each has its own place. Learning those differences is part of welcoming a tradition with respect.
Food adds another invitation. A dish can prompt a question about home, a sweet can become something to share, and a meal gives people time to remain together after the busiest part of the celebration.
## Welcome includes choice Not everybody wants colour on their clothes or skin. Ask before applying it, and make room for people who prefer to watch, talk or enjoy the food. The warmth of a gathering is measured partly by how comfortable it feels to take part differently.
Our vegetarian table is shaped by the same thought. We can explain a dish, ask about dietary requirements and help each guest find something they enjoy. The intention is generous company, with curiosity on both sides.
This reconstructed archive story carries the theme of the original preview. It makes no claim about a specific past Holi event. Current menus and celebrations will always have their own confirmed details.
