By Boxing Day, the kitchen at home has usually worked hard. There are dishes to put away, containers to find lids for and someone asking what everybody would like to eat next.
## A little room to rest The day after Christmas can have a different pace. Some families walk, some visit friends, and some simply enjoy a quieter morning. It is a chance to spend time together without recreating the previous day’s preparation.
A meal out can be part of that pause. Let somebody else think about the cooking while you choose what sounds good: a warming curry, something crisp to start, a thali with different flavours to explore.
## A change of flavour Indian vegetarian food brings plenty of variety to a festive week. Tell the team about vegan requirements and allergies when you book and again when ordering, so the meal can be planned around the people sharing it.
Namaste Village plans to welcome guests on Boxing Day. Branch opening hours and any special arrangements will be shown with the relevant restaurant information once confirmed. We will not assume that every location keeps the same service times.
Bring the people you did not get enough time with yesterday, or make it a small table for two. There is no need for another grand occasion. Sometimes being looked after is celebration enough.
We’ll have a table ready.
